How old is your heater and how many times does it try to relight before it goes into lockout? A very easy thing you can do to eliminate a venting/air switch problem is to remove the PVC vent pipe where it connects to the blower and see if your burner stays on. If it does there is a problem with the venting. Don't let the heater continue to run without the venting attached.

Thanks for your reply. I just returned from my neices house. Ifound the problem to be that the tube that runs from the vent fan to the vacume switch was patialy obstructed causing the 24v to come on and off resetting the ignition module.this was the first time I tryed one of thse forums so thankyou very much for your reply.
