Can the hot water outlet be used to pour in the Hydrogen Peroxide provided there isn't a Anode Rod in the way ?

Yes. Just turn off the water pressure, let some water out the drain valve, disconnect the plumbing and pour. And it will work even if there IS an anode because there will be an outlet for the hot water, as well.
