Need to replace a gas water heater in a crawl space and am unable to find one that is small enough anymore.  I am told that they no longer exist and am wondering if there are any still available.  The size needed is 46 and I am told the smallest is 50.

Contact information for all the major water heater manufacturers is available on my Resources page. I suggest you call them and ask, both for what you're looking for, and for alternatives.
