My gas hot water heater was acting up a couple of months ago, it would cylce and work fine once - then when it was "hot" it wouldn't relight the burner, the pilot light would come on fine, but the burning wouldn't go. I would power it down, once cool start it up again and seemed fine, then it started working normally. Well today, the force vent fan is on, the pilot will come on but it will not ignite the burner at all. So now its ccooolllddd water showers (ouch - 13 and 15 yr old daughers) Any help or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
