I had a main line water leak in Dec that was repaired. I had a new water tank put in in Feb because the Pressure valve was staying open and the tank was 20 yrs old. The new tanks pressure valve was intermittently staying open. We put a regulator on the hot water line and the problem stopped. We have plenty of hot water and water pressure is good. However, this morning I woke up to a closet full of water. Water was shooting out of the coupling where the cold water line comes from under the house and hooks into the cold water line going into the tank. I do not see a crack in the pipe and the coupling is also new. I turned the valve off where it comes into the pipe and also turned off the main water valve to the house. Is there anything else I should turn off, the tank is a gas water heater. Also, do think this is water pressure problem or a problem with the coupling.? Thank you
