 Thank you very much for responding so quickly with your VERY helpful information and advice! I am truly grateful...you and your website are truly amazing. 

I will check out the specs between the two (the one quoted by the plumber was the U4-5036FRN which has the T/P valve that could be converted...although I will have to find out if doing this then disables the T/P valve function) as well as the pricing.
